Welcome to the SIG Chair community! This area is designed to provide SIG leaders with best practices, tips and ideas that will aid in the planning and implementation of ASCO SIG activities.
Duties: SIG chairs are responsible for:
- agenda and meeting preparation
- convening the SIG business meeting
- preparing meeting minutes and newsletter summaries
- reporting on the activities and needs of their respective SIG to ASCO staff, committees, and the Board
- facilitating communication between the SIG, ASCO staff, committees, and the Board
Composition: Members of the SIG Chair community represent current ASCO SIG chairs, co-chairs, and chair (co-chair) elects.
SIG Chair: Each SIG is responsible for electing chairs by terms identified by their respective SIG. Chairs are responsible for updating ASCO to changes in leadership. Elected chairs must be representatives of ASCO active and associate member institutions.
