Thomas A. Wong, OD is an Associate Clinical Professor at SUNY Optometry serving as the Director of New Technologies and Clinical Externships focused on innovative ophthalmic technologies improving patient outcomes, ocular disease, contact lenses, bioethics, clinical research, and medical informatics. He is the former Chief of Adult & Pediatric Primary Eye Care at the University Eye Center, and Optometry-Chief at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States, and is a graduate of both Georgetown University (GU) and SUNY Optometry serving on the GU Board of Governors, and Boards for both Athletics, and Men’s Basketball. When not at work, I enjoy sports, travel, dining, music & the arts, experimenting in the kitchen, and writing poetry.
